RealtyTrade - Realty Trade is a real scam and ripoff

I happened to be a suckered customer of this organization and I had my property listed for over a year and never once had a response from them on any inquiries etc only when I called and then I believe they made soething up to shut me up. They are really making a killing by the fees they charge and the little they do and you do not get your money refunded if it does not sell--they come with some excuse about the marketing and work they have done which as far as I can see is nothing. Customer beware because if not ?????

:( I have had similar experiences with this organization. Reputation seems to follow them. We are the unfortunate ones though and they keep operating day after day at our expense.

RealtyTrade - Realty Trade did not refund out money, $894

Signed an agreement with Realty Trade in August 2009 to market our Monarch Vacations timeshare. They guaranteed that they will refund our money, $894, if we failed to receive an offer from a buyer.

Prior to this we discover that this company is a fraud and made several false representations in their website. As an example, the sales rep that we spoke to mentioned that they do have scarce resource of our timeshare, the Monarch Vacations. When I went to their website, there were marketing several Monarch properties.

We asked for a refund after 6 months passed, we did not receive any offer and they do not want to refund our money. We also foudn out that there is a mass action lawsuit filed in Florida for this company for misprepresentation charges.

Realty Trade contacted us claiming they could sell our time share in 6 months with a full money back guarantee. We received no offers within the 6 months so we sent 2 letters asking for our refund.

They said they did not receive any of our letters. We sent a third letter by certifed mail and then they said it arrived one day out.

We called asking for all sells information on our property and to speak with the CEO and have not yet gotten any response back.If you value your money do not trust it to Realty Trade.

For those who have posted about RealtyTrade, aka Virtual Group, you are indeed correct. The bigger challenge is to have them shut down.

Their license is out of Orange County Occupational Licensing Division. Their license number is 3400-102686085. I don't have the time to research this much further. Someone should get in touch with this agency and file a complaint with them as soon as possible.

Another issue is that this scam has been in operation for 4 years in Florida. They have changed their business name several times and their personal identities several times to avoid litigation. They are under investigation by the Florida Attorney General's office, but people need to keep submitting complaints to them and all other applicable agencies immediately.

They are smart enough to move from state to state rather quickly and may have foreign mob connections.

When disputing the charges, let the institution know that you have filed complaints with the BBB and the Atty General's Office of Florida. For your dispute to be resolved, you need a copy of your contract and your letter to request a refund.

You, like me, can request open records on Realty Trade. When I receive the complaints, I will post them.

There are 24 pages of complaints about RT with the Florida Attorney General's Office.

Call your bank or credit card company and dispute the charge immediately.

Complain to Florida BBB and Florida Attorney General's Office immediately.

This company said they sent me an OFFER to my email. I never recieved it. When i called them they tell me to go to my contract. here is what the contract stated:

All offers will be delivered electronically to the email address that has been provided in Owner information listed above. All offers will be sent by It is Owner’s responsibility to monitor all email correspondence and ensure email address is accurate, as offers will not be delivered any other way other than electronically via email.

I looked thru all my emails and never saw anything, but they said they sent it, and i got it, so no refund. :(

RealtyTrade - Fraud-does not refund my fee

I have written 3 letters to have my fee refunded.I have written one 3 months before the end of the 6-month period.

The second letter was written 30 days before the end of the period as indicated and then they called and said "No, you have to wait 10 days after the end of the 6-month period so I sent another letter and this is when they said I have an offer on October 15, 2009 in my email and I said well I looked & I didn't see any in regular or spam so send me a copy of it. So they said "we will send you an offer so read it but it was another scam to extend my contract by sending a "Term & Condition" agreement to extend instead of "giving" me the name(s) of the potential buyer(s). They say it's an offer but I need to sign the extention "again"?

I don't think so.

This is very sad that they have such deceptive practices.Consumers Beware!!!

Realtytrade would not issue a refund.

Realtytrade contactected me to sell my timeshare property. They assured me I would have offers within my price range within 6 months or would receive a full refund.

During the 6 months they sent me two names with email addresses. I repeatedly tried to contact these people but no responses. I called Realtytrade repeatedly for help and they finally told me that one person was not contactable and the other was unemployed and no longer interested in my property. I never received anything from either person, no contact, no offer, nothing.

So I sent a delivery confirmed letter within the 10 day required time period. After that I called and was told by Realtytrade that they didn't even open my letter because they considered contact information an offer, even if I never had a monitary offer or contact. There are people filing a class action suit and I have signed up. Also Realtytrade now has the online buisness burea on their website claiming they had no complaints.

I think it's new so if you have a complaint make sure to let them know.If you have any questions on this posts send to

I was scammed by them too.Call the Florida Attorney General's office to complain.

Many people already have and the numbers continue to grow. Also, call the Orange County Occupational Licensing Division. Virtual Group (aka RealtyTrade, aka RealtyProperties) has changed their name several times and the thieves that work under their current name all have fake names, making it difficult to prosecute them.

However, the noose is tightening on them with every complaint, so follow the sound advice I'm giving you.Do it soon!

Time Share Resell by RealtyTrade

Staten Island, New York 6 comments, Orlando, FL based time-share resell outfit is a scam and swindle. There have been multiple complaints regarding its refund policy, which is zero, despite its own contract. RealtyTrade representatives will lie that an offer was made, thereby negating a refund. Representatives debit a credit card without prior approval. This organization has no right to deny refund when client has fullfilled obligations stated in contract. This is an outfit which takes in the service fee but will not return same after contract termination (after 6 months and written notice within a ten day period after contract termination).

This outfit has many complaints against it and the Orlando Chamber of Commerce makes note of their refusal to refund where necessary. also has complaints for ripped off RealtyTrade clients.

RealtyTrade representatives will call once to deny refund then will not respond to any further inquireries. If you wish to sell a Time Share, this is one outfit you must avoid.

We have also been scammed by Realty Trade. We were also given 2 ladies e-mail addresses and were never contacted by these ladies.

We don't feel these ladies existed. At the end of our 6 month contract we sent a registered letter requesting our refund which was denied. Mike Holland called us and told us he would guarantee he could sell our unit -- gave us a phone number in California (Bamidele Olowa)-- I made contact with Bami and he agreed to purchase our timeshare. When I mailed him a "purchase agreement" signed and notarized by my husband and myself --that ended our contact with him.

His phone said "no longer receiving incoming calls" and of course he never answered our e-mails. Therefore, we feel he was a plant and not a true prospect. When we called Mike he was to check on this problem -- never heard from him.

Now I've been told he's no longer working there.SCAM

The Central Florida BBB has logged over 200 complaints from 2008-2009.The complaints keep rolling in.

The Florida Attorney General's office is investigating their illegal practices.

Everyone that has been ripped off by this company must complain to them and to the Orange County Occupational Licensing Division.Virtual Groups license number is 3400-102686085.

You people are a totally immoral outfit and pretend to submit an offer, when in

fact the proposed customer does not even

exist and then you refuse to refund our

deposit because you say it was our fault

we could not get in contact with this bogus

customer. You should be ashamed of scam-

ming people like us who have trusted you

for six months and then don't get our

money back and have wasted six months.

I had a very similar experience, doubtful in the beginning but within 21 days I had a rental check for$2,820.00 as promised.I have since joined their unlimited rental program and have had several offers thus far.

Thank RealtyTrade the good will spread as well.Convincved and Thrilled.

I have actually sold both my time share properties through this company and the only issue I had was the up front fee that I really didn't want to pay.But when it came down to it I worked with them with the hopes that they were not like the rest.

THEY actually proved me wrong.

Both properties were sold and I am 71,000 richer! Thanks Realty Trade
